The Provincial Government of Antique, Philippines is spearheading a concert-show as a fundraising-project for the victims of the Typhoon Frank which devastated almost the entire island of Panay in the Visayas region. Antique was one of the provinces that was heavily hit by the Typhoon Frank on June 21, 2008.

The event “Antiqueño Bulig Antique” Original Kinaray-a Music Live Band Concert and Patadyong Fashion Show Project will be held on October 17, 2008, Friday at 6:00 PM at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City, Philippines.

The event is also in cooperation with the Paranubliun-Antique, Incorporated, a cultural NGO partner of the Provincial Government.

Excerpt from the letter of the Antique Provincial Governor Salvacion Zaldivar Perez to Pagtatap Foundation, Inc.:

The Provincial Government is embarking on a reach-out project for victims of Typhoon Frank through a concert-show scheduled on October 17, 2008 (Friday, 6:00 PM) at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City for Antiqueños and friends of Antiqueños based in Metro Manila and elsewhere.

The event is dubbed “Antiqueño Bulig Antique” Original Kinaray-a Music (OKM) Live Band Concert and Patadyong Fashion Show Project. The proceeds of this event will benefit badly-hit victims of Typhoon Frank whose continuing needs still need to be addressed.
